Hello friends, this is Allison’s Mom writing to you today. Many have asked her why she’s not writing her Blog. Two months ago she went in for her yearly physical and routine blood work, the tech that tried to draw her blood did not know what she was doing and caused Allison excruciating pain and injured her arms. After this happened we were hoping & praying it would just heal and go away well sadly it has not but gotten worse, she can’t type, txt, grasp anything with her hands, just a simple thing of taking a shower and washing her hair is almost unbearable. She has sharp pain, pins & needles and numbness and burning down into her fingers & hands. She also is not sleeping well from the pain so she is very tired and wore out. Both arms are hurt but the left is the worse. We are asking for Prayer for healing, wisdom & guidance and Peace! Thank y’all so much! It’s our Hope and Prayer she will be back soon, cooking, baking, traveling and sharing it all with you! Hugs!!
As a gift I was given this set this past summer with out knowing how much I would be using it. I have absoluty fallen in love with it, small enough to carry on to a plane if need be but with enough room to pack for three people for two weeks.
I always over pack, on this trip I brought seven shirts and two pairs of pants as well as two skirts.
First I put all of my bottoms on top of each other making sure there was no wrinkles in the fabric.
Then fold the bottoms in half long ways. I put the pants down first then the skirts so that when I get to this step the skirts are in the middle of the fold and the pants are on the outside,
Then I begin rolling the bottoms tightly. Make sure that there are no wrinkles as you roll the clothes on top of each other. The tighter the roll is the less wrinkles in the clothes when you unpack.
Repeat the above steps with the remaining piles of clothes. The below picture is the suitcase all packed up, as you can see clothes for three people for a week fit quite easily in the small suitcase when following the above steps. Before I started packing this way we had to take two suitcases. In my experience rolling our clothes has worked out wonderfully, this trip all of my clothes fit in the suitcase. On trips I have taken before I had to take 4 things on hangers that are not conducive to rolling. My dad does take his work clothes on hangers but for his casual clothes he rolls them. The majority of my moms clothes are hung but she bring pieces that are easily matched together. I on the other hand bring more shirts to match with less bottoms.
